Nissan has confirmed a new Frontier mid-size pick-up is on the way but it likely won't arrive before the 2021 model year. While the current Frontier sells reasonably well thanks to being fairly cheap, it dates back to 2005 and hasn't been significantly updated since 2009. As a result, it has fallen behind its competitors in terms of safety, refinement and available technology.
