Honda Insight Hybrid (2020)

The all-new third-gen Insight Hybrid is a larger mid-sized sedan built on a platform shared with the current-gen Civic. Two trims are available in Canada, both powered by a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor and lithium-ion battery pack that is mated to an electronic CVT that drives the front wheels. Combined output is rated at 151 hp. Intended competition are other gas-electric hybrids such as the Toyota Prius.
