BMW's range of performance SUVs expands with the addition of the first-ever compact X3 M and X4 M. Both vehicles are available in both regular and Competition models, which adds extra performance kit and more power. In regular M form, power output from the 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline 6-cylinder engine is rated at 480 hp and 442 lb-ft, but 30 extra horsepower awaits those that choose the Competition option (510 hp). BMW's 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and xDrive all-wheel drive are standard on all models.
