Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (2020)

For the first time in its 66-year history, the Corvette is going mid-engine. The all-new eighth-gen 2020 model departs from Corvette tradition with a mid-mounted 6.2L LT2 V8 (495 hp / 470 lb-ft.) that will be mounted behind the passenger compartment. Also no longer apart of the Corvette offering is a manual transmission, as the new C8 will be available only with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic to deliver power to the rear wheels.
